A Kitchen Replacement Faucet That Turns On By Touching It

Kitchen and bathroom faucet replacement touch technology is here at M.E. Flow in Leesburg, Alexandria, and Winchester.

Do you remember the popular “clap on…clap off” lights? I think it was an adaptor for the electrical switch that would turn the lights on and off with a strong clap of the hands. Well, a few weeks ago I noticed we had a new kitchen faucet installed at the office at M.E. Flow in Leesburg that reminded me of the “clap on…clap off” lights but this faucet turns on and off by touch!

At first I wondered…why would we replace what seemed to be a perfectly good working faucet fixture with a nice new shiny chrome fixture. Then I witnessed what appeared to be a group of plumbers congregating around the kitchen faucet and realized they were demonstrating the latest in technology from Delta faucets–the touch-on and touch-off faucet.

I wondered if our customers would have an interest in this product. As the weeks went by I tested the new replacement faucet and realized that it is pretty convenient. For example when my hands are full, I can fill my water bottle and rinse out my coffee cup without having to set all of my stuff down. Not having to grab a handle or turn a knob also helps with not sharing germs with everyone else in the house!

Overall, I think I would enjoy having a touch faucet by Delta installed in my home. Especially when my hands get all yucked up while making the secret family recipe for meatloaf!!

I think our customers will be excited about this new kitchen faucet because it only requires one hand when the “clap on…clap off” required two!
